This baked frittata recipe is a wonderful dish to serve at brunch or to take as leftovers for lunch. Make this frittata even easier by using cooked bacon from the freezer.
Ingredients
- 5 slices bacon
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ¼ cup chopped green onions
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 7×11-inch baking dish.
Step 2
Place bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain bacon slices on paper towels. Crumble and set aside.
Step 3
Whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, salt, and pepper together in a bowl; pour into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with green onions and crumbled bacon. Cover with Cheddar cheese.
Step 4
Bake in the preheated oven until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes.
