Now you can have the best of both worlds when it comes to bacon with the help of your air fryer. Crispy on the outside with a bit of chew in the twisted curls. Use whatever flavor/blend of bacon you like, just make sure it is thick cut for best results.
Ingredients
- 4 slices thick cut bacon, halved widthwise
Directions
Step 1
Pinch the left end of a halved piece of bacon with your left pointer finger and thumb. Pinch the right side of the halved piece of bacon with your right pointer finger and thumb.
Step 2
Starting from your right side, start twisting the halved bacon piece clockwise 10 times slightly pulling as you twist until you have a tight pigtail effect. Place in the basket of the air fryer. Repeat with remaining 7 halves.
Step 3
Set air fryer to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step 4
Cook for 10 minutes. Shake the basket and cook 5 minutes more or until doneness. Transfer to a paper towel lined plate and let sit 2 minutes to crisp.
