These pork spareribs in the oven are so good, you won’t have any leftovers!
Ingredients
- 8 pounds pork spareribs
- 3 cups ketchup, or to taste
- 1 cup barbecue sauce, or to taste
- 1 cup brown sugar, or to taste
- 3 tablespoons steak sauce (such as A1®), or to taste
- 2 ½ tablespoons lemon juice, or to taste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced, or to taste
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, or to taste
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce, or to taste
Directions
Step 1
Place ribs in a large stockpot with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and cook for 1 hour.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step 3
When the ribs are about halfway finished, combine ketchup, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, steak sauce, lemon juice, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and hot pepper sauce in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 20 minutes.
Step 4
Drain ribs; cut between the bones. Place into a baking pan and pour sauce over top. Cover the pan with foil.
Step 5
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and continue to bake until meat pulls away easily from the bone, about 30 more minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
Tips
You can also add finely chopped onions and soy sauce to the sauce if desired.
