Pigs in a blanket made with refrigerated biscuit dough and frankfurters. Kids love them! My mom made it for me as did her mom. If making for a small child, cut the hot dogs into fourths length-wise. The cheese is optional.
Ingredients
- 1 (10 ounce) package refrigerated biscuit dough
- 8 slices American processed cheese (Optional)
- 8 frankfurters
Directions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step 2
Shape biscuit dough sections into 3-inch diameter circles. Lay a slice of cheese on each dough circle; place a frankfurter in the center of each cheese slice and roll it up.
Step 3
Place rolls, seam-side down, on a cookie sheet.
Step 4
Bake in the preheated oven until biscuits are golden brown, about 10 to 15 minutes.
Step 5
Serve hot.
