This is a basic, but okay sandwich. I had issues with the bottom rolls being soggy. If I were to make them again, I would probably leave the honey mustard off the bottom rolls.

    Excellent would definitely make again!

I was tempted to add everything bagel seasoning to the top of the roll (might try that next time) instead of poppy seeds, but I stayed true to the recipe. You?d never find honey mustard on a Cuban sandwich, but it really worked with this slider. I used brioche rolls instead of the Hawaiian rolls because of concerns that the combo of sweet mustard and sweet Hawaiian rolls would just be too sweet for our tastes. I?ve eaten a lot of Cubans, and they?re nothing like this, but that?s OK. A variation or update to a traditional sandwich can be a really nice change. We enjoyed these sliders, and I can see them being super popular for game day food for Final Four coming up. I?ll make them again?soon!

This is one of my favorite sandwiches. Always a hit at my house!

I made half Cubans (per original recipe) and half Philly Cheesesteak version of this recipe. Cuban version followed exactly except halved. Philly version – used a red bell pepper vs a green one and in hindsight, needs a little more seasoning (more Worcestershire? S&P? Sprinkle of steak seasoning?). A couple people added Heinz 57 to their individual sliders. While neither is ?authentic? – this is a FUN recipe to both make and eat!! Also super easy! Thanks for sharing!
