Ingredients
- 1/3 cup shortening
- 6 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
Directions
Step 1
Heat shortening in a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add potatoes and cook, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are golden brown. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Serve hot.
Tips
You may use oil instead of shortening if desired.
