Ingredients
- 1 cup white sugar
- ½ cup butter, melted and slightly cooled
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (Optional)
- 1 (9 inch) pie shell
Directions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Step 2
Stir sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla together in a bowl.
Step 3
Mix flour and cocoa powder together in a separate bowl. Pour in wet ingredients and stir until thoroughly combined. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour batter into pie shell.
Step 4
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes. Serve hot.
