A great cabbage slaw for tacos. The local taco truck serves their chicken tacos with cabbage, cilantro, and lime. This is my attempt to recreate their taco toppings.
Ingredients
- ½ small head cabbage, finely chopped
- 1 carrot, finely chopped
- ½ red onion, minced
- 1 jalape?o pepper, seeded and minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 lime, juiced
Directions
Step 1
Gather all ingredients.
Step 2
Chop the cabbage, carrot, and cilantro. Mince the red onion. Seed and mince the jalape?o.
Step 3
Combine chopped vegetables and lime juice in a bowl; toss to coat.
