My favorite bacon-wrapped turkey recipe calls for ‘soul food seasoning,’ and I couldn’t find it in any of the stores near me. After much searching, this is what worked the best. This makes enough for multiple uses.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 2 tablespoons dark chile powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon ground celery seed
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
Directions
Step 1
Mix pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, chile powder, paprika, salt, thyme, celery seed, parsley, and cayenne together in a container with a tight lid.
