This slow cooker ham with pineapple is simple to make with just 3 ingredients, but it’s delicious nonetheless! It was a big hit at an Easter party a few years back. I prefer to leave my ham whole once it’s done cooking, but others have said they like to shred the ham into chunks and mix the cooked pineapple with it.
Ingredients
- 1 (6 to 7 pound) picnic ham
- 1 (15.25 ounce) can pineapple rings, juice drained and reserved
- 1 (16 ounce) can cola-flavored carbonated beverage (such as Pepsi®)
Directions
Step 1
Place ham in slow cooker with the fattier side facing down. Use toothpicks to attach pineapple rings to the ham; pour over pineapple juice. Pour cola into the slow cooker.
Step 2
Cover and cook on Low for 7 to 10 hours.
Tips
Do not substitute another brand for Pepsi. Something about the sweetness of Pepsi is what really makes this work!
