Ingredients
- 1 (2 pound) beef top round roast
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 2 large carrots, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ground black pepper to taste
- ½ cup Worcestershire sauce
- ½ cup barbecue sauce
Directions
Step 1
Place beef roast in a slow cooker with onion, carrots, and celery. Season with garlic powder and pepper, then pour Worcestershire sauce and barbecue sauce over top. Cover and cook on Low until the meat is tender, 6 to 8 hours. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 140 degrees F (60 degrees C) for medium.
