These applesauce cinnamon ornaments are meant to be used on wreaths and gifts or to hang on Christmas trees. If the fragrance starts to fade, drop a little cinnamon oil on the ornament.
Ingredients
- 3 cups applesauce
- 3 cups ground cinnamon
Directions
Step 1
Mix together applesauce and cinnamon in a large bowl until mixture is thick enough to hold a form when cut. Flatten mixture on a work surface and use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes.
Step 2
Place cookies on a baking sheet. Allow to dry completely at room temperature for 3 to 4 days, depending on size and thickness of cookies. Make a hole with a toothpick before drying if using as a hanging ornament.
