Try this string bean recipe if you’re tired of regular or canned string beans. Here’s an easy way to flavor up those veggies! Even my string bean-hating roommate loves these.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed and snapped
- garlic salt to taste
- garlic powder to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
- dried minced onion to taste
- 1 (16 ounce) jar marinated cocktail onions, with liquid
Directions
Step 1
Heat oil in a wok over high heat. Reduce the heat to medium and add beans. Cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with garlic salt, garlic powder, pepper, and minced onion. When beans are almost tender, mix in cocktail onions with liquid. Continue cooking for 5 minutes, until heated through.
