Chocolate-banana oatmeal is a yummy treat.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 packet zero-calorie sweetener
- 1 pinch salt
- ¼ cup hot water
- ¼ cup cold water
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- ½ banana, mashed
Directions
Step 1
Pour cocoa powder into a microwave-safe bowl and stir in cinnamon, sweetener, and salt. Add hot water and stir thoroughly until cocoa powder has dissolved. Stir in cold water until well combined. Stir in oats and banana until mixed well.
Step 2
Microwave for 2 minutes. Remove, stir, and allow oatmeal to cool and thicken.
Cook’s Note:
You can also use a 25-calorie packet of diet hot cocoa mix instead of unsweetened cocoa powder.
