This raspberry lemon drop martini is similar to a traditional lemon drop (which is without a doubt my go-to drink on hot summer days!), but it’s made with muddled fresh raspberries. I was inspired to create this recipe when I saw my kids throwing fresh home-grown raspberries into their lemonade. Tart, sweet, and refreshing, this cocktail is a winner.
Ingredients
- 10 fresh raspberries, or more to taste
- 2 fluid ounces lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons white sugar
- 2 fluid ounces vodka
- 1 cup ice, or as needed
- 1 wedge lemon
Directions
Step 1
Place 8 raspberries, lemon juice, and sugar into a cocktail shaker and mash well with a cocktail muddler. Add vodka and ice. Cover, and shake until the outside of the shaker has frosted. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with lemon wedge and remaining raspberries.
