Moist and delicious pumpkin chocolate chip muffins. You may use up to one cup of chocolate chips if you like.
Ingredients
- ¾ cup white sugar
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- ¾ cup canned pumpkin
- ¼ cup water
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions

Gather all ingredients.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease and flour muffin pan or use paper liners.

Whisk sugar, oil, and eggs together in a medium bowl. Stir in pumpkin and water until well blended.
Step 4
Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt together in a separate bowl.
Step 5
Add pumpkin mixture into flour mixture and stir just to combine, being careful not to overmix. Gently stir in chocolate chips.
Step 6
Fill muffin cups 2/3 full with batter.
Step 7
Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 20 to 25 minutes.
