This is a take on the classic Watergate salad, but tastes like an orange Creamsicle!
Ingredients
- 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- ½ teaspoon orange extract, or more to taste
- 2 drops red food coloring
- 1 (8 ounce) tub frozen whipped topping (such as Cool Whip®), thawed
- 1 cup miniature marshmallows (such as Kraft® Jet-Puffed)
- ½ cup chopped pecans, divided
Directions
Step 1
Stir pineapple, pudding mix, and orange extract together in a bowl. Add food coloring and stir. Fold in whipped topping and mini marshmallows. Reserve 2 to 3 tablespoons of chopped pecans for topping; stir in remaining pecans.
Step 2
Top with reserved chopped pecans and chill for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
Cook’s Note:
If you like a little more orange flavor, add a full teaspoon of orange extract.
