Nova Lox Everything Breakfast Bagel

I don’t have the finances to always grab my favorite breakfast treats so this is my rendition of a local offering from a nearby bagel joint.

Ingredients

  • 8 everything bagel thins
  • 1 (8 ounce) container whipped cream cheese
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • 1 (4 ounce) jar capers

Directions

Step 1
Split bagel thins and toast the bagel thins until lightly golden.

Step 2
Smear 2 tablespoons whipped cream cheese on each bagel. Top each bagel with a tomato slice, 1 ounce flaked smoked salmon, and capers. Serve immediately.

    I make this all the time. The everything bagel is a key ingredient because of the extra crunch and seasonings. If you only have regular “brick” cream cheese, warm up a few ounces of it in the microwave. I also add sliced sweet or red onion and lettuce to my sandwiches for even more crunch.

    add a splash of lemon on the salon, and
    a shaved slice of red onion to boost the flavor
