These chow mein cookies are delicious. Peanuts work well in place of the cashews or try a combination of both!
Ingredients
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 cups butterscotch chips
- 2 (5 ounce) cans chow mein noodles
- ½ cup cashew halves
- wax paper
Directions
Step 1
Combine chocolate and butterscotch chips in a heavy saucepan over low heat; stir constantly until melted and smooth.
Step 2
Remove from heat and add chow mein noodles. Add nuts and mix quickly to coat. Spoon out tablespoons of the mixture onto wax paper; allow to cool.
Tips
You can also melt the chips in a microwave-safe glass or ceramic bowl in 15-second intervals, stirring after each interval, 1 to 3 minutes.
