Ingredients

  • 1 (15.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • ½ cup butter
  • 4 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 13×9 inch baking pan.

Step 2
Combine yellow cake mix, 2 eggs, and butter in a large bowl; mix well. The batter should be stiff. Spread batter into the prepared pan.

Step 3
Combine confectioners' sugar, cream cheese, and the remaining 2 eggs in a separate bowl; mix well and pour over the top of the cake batter.

Step 4
Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 35 minutes.
