These delicious million-dollar cookies are made with crispy rice cereal, oats, coconut, and chocolate chips.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup quick cooking oats
- 1 egg
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups crisp rice cereal
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup flaked coconut
Directions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Mix ingredients in the order given in the ingredients list.
Step 2
Roll into balls and place on cookie sheet. Press down with glass which has been buttered and dipped in sugar.
Step 3
Bake cookies in the preheated oven until edges are golden, about 12 minutes. Cool on the baking sheet briefly before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
