Midnight Nutella Dip

Midnight Nutella Dip

Me and my friend wanted dessert, so we went to the kitchen and made this. It is one of my favorite sweet treats, and I am sure you will enjoy it. I recommend having it with soft pretzels and milk.

Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoons chocolate-hazelnut spread (such as Nutella®)
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Combine chocolate-hazelnut spread, milk, honey, and vanilla extract in a small microwave-safe container.

Step 2
Heat in microwave oven for 1 minute.

Step 3
Stir the dip with a toothpick until somewhat smooth; let cool for 2 minutes before eating.

Recipe Tip

For a thicker sauce, use cream instead of milk. To adjust the consistency after cooking, stir in more milk (to thin it) or Nutella (to thicken it).

Recipe worked great – no changes. I made homemade zeppole and dipped in this. Was great!

Ok, so honestly, I didn’t follow recipe but used almost the ingredients listed. I just added nutella, and honey and half and half and vanilla extract. I just tasted as I went. I feel like I added more half and half than the ratio listed to get a smooth and thinner sauce. I used it for beignet dipping and it was AMAZING. Lots of love from the hubby and all my friends that tried it. Heated in microwave and reheated well. YUM! A keeper.

Awesome. Made it with some homeamade pretzel ans kids loved it.

Followed the recipe exactly. It doesn’t taste bad but it just tastes like I’m eating Nutella by itself. I also let it cool like the recipe said but it thickened up too much to dip anything in it. This recipe is a good start but I think it could be improved.

OMG! My kiddo made this tonight. It is addictive. It is BEYOND Nutella. We both like Nutella but this is far and above. I am not a sweets person. I don?t eat much chocolate. But I could not stop licking the spoon on this.

Kids loved it! It?s so easy to whip up for an after school snack with some fruit. I will definitely make this again!

SO GOOD! We ate it with peaches and apples which were both delicious but the apples were the best.

I microwaved it and it started bubbling over 40 seconds in so I stopped it and it still came out fine. I recommend this recipe if you are craving a quick, sweet snack.
