My mother came up with the recipe for this balsamic dressing. It’s wonderful on salads, but we also use it over steamed veggies or as a marinade for chicken. Store in the refrigerator and shake each time before using.
Ingredients
- ¾ cup extra virgin olive oil
- ¾ cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 clove garlic, crushed or to taste
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
Directions
Step 1
Combine oil, vinegar, garlic, dijon, oregano, salt, and pepper in a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Seal the jar and shake well.
