This hot, creamy chicken sandwich recipe is from my sister. She made these sandwiches for our family reunion, and my pickiest eater told me they’re her favorite food. The crackers really add a lot of butter flavor!
Ingredients
- 1 (3 pound) chicken – cooked, deboned and shredded
- 2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
- ¼ (16 ounce) package buttery round crackers, crushed
- ½ teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 12 hamburger buns
Directions
Step 1
Combine shredded chicken, condensed soup, crushed crackers, and poultry seasoning in a large saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring frequently, until mixture is hot, 15 to 20 minutes. Serve warm on buns.
