This hot crab dip recipe is an excellent appetizer for parties. Everyone loves it. Serve with crackers, potato chips, or tortilla chips.
Ingredients
- cooking spray
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 6 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
- 7 ½ ounces canned crabmeat, drained
- 4 tablespoons minced onion
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Directions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a small baking dish with cooking spray.
Step 2
Beat together mayonnaise and cream cheese in a large bowl until smooth. Stir in crabmeat, onion, lemon juice, and hot sauce until well combined. Spoon mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Step 3
Bake in the preheated oven until sauce is bubbly, about 20 minutes.
Tips
You can use fresh crabmeat instead of canned crabmeat.
