This lemon tea is my favorite tea. My dad used to make it for me all the time. It is a sweet and sour tea — you taste the honey, then the lemon. Great for soothing sore throats. Yum, yum, yum!
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon white sugar, or to taste
Directions
Step 1
Pour water into a mug. Add honey and heat in the microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds.
Step 2
Stir in lemon juice, mixing until honey is dissolved. Stir in sugar.
