With melted butter and ranch seasoning, chicken breasts are roasted effortlessly in this satisfying main dish.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 teaspoons Hidden Valley Original Ranch Salad Dressing and Seasoning Mix
Directions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
Step 2
If thinner chicken breasts are desired, place chicken between two sheets of heavy plastic on a solid, level surface. Firmly pound chicken with the smooth side of a meat mallet to a 3/4-inch thickness.
Step 3
Place chicken into a large baking dish. Brush with melted butter on both sides, then season all over with ranch seasoning mix. Drizzle any remaining butter over top.
Step 4
Bake in the preheated oven until chicken is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, 18 to 20 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Tips
Feel free to use olive oil instead of butter.
