This hamburger hash is a quick and inexpensive one-dish meal. You can use leftover roast beef if you prefer.
Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 pound potatoes, cut into small chunks
- 2 tablespoons beef bouillon
- water to cover
Directions
Step 1
Heat a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground beef and onion until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes.
Step 2
Add potatoes and bouillon; pour in just enough water to cover potatoes. Cover saucepan, reduce heat to low, and simmer until potatoes are tender and water has been absorbed, about 30 minutes.
