These noodles are my family’s favorite part of the Thanksgiving meal. These thick and tasty noodles take the place of the gravy; they get dumped over everything!

Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 cups beef broth

Directions

Step 1
Beat eggs in a large bowl. Mix in flour, salt, and pepper. Divide dough in half, then roll out the halves to 1/4-inch thick. Let dry for at least 2 hours.

Step 2
Cut noodles into long strips, 1/2-inch to 1-inch wide.

Step 3
Bring beef broth to a boil over high heat. Drop noodles into boiling broth and cook until soft.
