Boneless, roasted chicken breasts cooked over sauerkraut and covered in BBQ sauce. This sounds a little different, but I assure you, it is delicious! It is one of my family’s favorites. The BBQ sauce makes the sauerkraut a little sweet. I like to serve this dish with mashed potatoes.
Ingredients
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 22 ounces sauerkraut
Directions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step 2
In a 9×13-inch baking dish, place sauerkraut in a single layer. Place chicken breasts on top of sauerkraut. Pour barbecue sauce over chicken. Cover and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked and juices run clear.
