The way my Mom always made them, with a twist by me!
Ingredients
- 2 cups raw pumpkin seeds
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, or as needed
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon salt
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 pinch ground black pepper to taste
Directions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
Step 2
Mix pumpkin seeds, oil, garlic, salt, cayenne, and black pepper together in a bowl and spread in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Step 3
Bake in the preheated oven, turning every 10 minutes, until dried, about 45 minutes.
Cook’s Note:
I normally don't rinse my seeds off because I love the flavor that my seasoning has on the pumpkin. This is by no means a sweet recipe.
