I created this matcha smoothie because I don’t get enough fruit and veggies. I love carbs and I love meat. In the summer it’s too hot to cook. I live in Japan and I have no central heating. This recipe is a quick and delicious way I can get all that’s good for me without spending time in the kitchen! I usually eyeball everything so please tweak it to your taste!
Ingredients
- ¼ cup milk
- 4 tablespoons plain yogurt
- ½ cup frozen strawberries
- ¼ cup frozen mango chunks
- 1 tablespoon green tea powder (matcha)
- 1 tablespoon honey, or to taste
- ¼ cup fresh spinach leaves
Directions
Step 1
Combine milk, yogurt, strawberries, mangos, matcha, honey, and spinach in a blender, in that order. Process until smooth. Make sure you don't over-blend, this can affect the quality of your smoothie!
Cook’s Notes:
You can use unsweetened or sweetened matcha.
