Ingredients

  • 6 zucchini flowers
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt, plus more to taste
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 quart vegetable oil for frying, or as needed

Directions

Step 1
Clean zucchini flowers and dry with a paper towel.

Step 2
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl. Whisk milk, eggs, and olive oil together in a separate bowl; stir in flour mixture until batter is smooth.

Step 3
Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.

Step 4
