Quick, easy, fat-free, budget-friendly, and delicious coffee creamer made right at home. Will last in the refrigerator for 1 1/2 weeks.
Ingredients
- ½ (12 fluid ounce) can fat-free evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon granular sucrolose sweetener (such as Splenda®), or more to taste
Directions
Step 1
Pour evaporated milk into a small saucepan; add vanilla extract. Stir in sweetener. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, to allow alcohol in extract to cook off, 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from the burner and let cool before using, or place in an airtight container and refrigerate.
Cook’s Notes:
Imitation vanilla extract can be used instead of pure.
