This egg fried rice made with simple ingredients is quick and easy.
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup uncooked instant rice
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- ½ onion, finely chopped
- ½ cup green beans
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions
Step 1
Bring water, soy sauce, and salt to a boil in a medium saucepan. Stir in rice and remove from heat. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Heat oil in a medium skillet or wok over medium heat. Saut? onions and green beans in hot oil for 2 to 3 minutes. Pour in beaten egg and fry for 2 minutes, scrambling egg while it cooks.
Step 3
Add cooked rice to egg mixture; mix well. Season with pepper.
