Simple sweet and sour topping for crockpot sweet and sour pork.
Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons minced onion
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions
Step 1
Heat a large skillet over high heat. Sear pork chops until browned, 1 to 2 minutes per side. Transfer pork chops to a slow cooker.
Step 2
Mix brown sugar, ketchup, onion, and lemon juice in a bowl; spoon over pork chops.
Step 3
Cook on Low until pork chops are very tender, 4 to 6 hours.
Recipe Tip
For faster cooking, you can also bake the pork chops in the oven at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes.
