This microwave chocolate cake is quick and easy to make and cooks in the microwave in 2 minutes. And it tastes great, really! The consistency is dense and cakey. It would go well with chocolate (or your favorite) chips or nuts or served warm with hot fudge. This cake, “born” out of a pregnancy craving, worked out amazingly.
Ingredients
- nonstick cooking spray
- ¼ cup white sugar
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 3 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
Directions
Step 1
Spray a medium microwave-safe bowl with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.
Step 2
Combine sugar, milk, egg, butter, and vanilla in a mixing bowl; mix well. Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Blend flour mixture into milk mixture until smooth. Pour into the prepared microwave-safe bowl.
Step 3
