Try this cola chicken recipe for tender, juicy chicken in a sweet and savory sauce made with cola and ketchup. The kids certainly won’t complain about dinner when they hear they’re having cola chicken!
Ingredients
- 1 cup cola-flavored carbonated beverage
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step 2
Mix cola, ketchup, and Worcestershire together in a medium bowl.
Step 3
Season chicken with salt and pepper and place into a 9×13-inch baking dish. Pour cola mixture over top and cover the dish with a lid or aluminum foil.
Step 4
Bake in the preheated oven until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, about 50 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
