- 1 (14 ounce) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk (NOT evaporated milk)
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
Step 1
Combine condensed milk, chocolate chips, butter, and water in a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Cook and stir until chocolate chips and butter melt, then continue to cook, stirring constantly until thickened, about 5 more minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in vanilla.
Tips
This can be made several days ahead. Just cover tightly and store in the refrigerator.
