A sweet orange-flavored iced tea beverage made with vanilla-almond syrup.
Ingredients
- 4 cups water, divided
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons almond extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups almond milk
- 4 orange herbal tea bags
Directions
Step 1
Combine 1 cup water and brown sugar in a saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Remove from heat; stir in almond extract and vanilla extract.
Step 2
Combine remaining water and almond milk in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Add tea bags; steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags; stir in extract mixture. Fill two tall glasses with ice; pour in tea.
Cook’s Note:
I made this using Tazo(R) Wild Sweet Orange herbal tea and almond milk, so depending on the tea you use and what kind of milk you use, the flavor could vary.
