This Campbell’s green bean casserole is made with cut green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and French’s fried onions and is the perfect addition to your holiday table. For a festive touch, stir in 1/2 cup of chopped red peppers with the soup.
Ingredients
- 2 2/3 cups French's® French Fried Onions
- 8 cups cooked cut green beans
- 2 (10.75 ounce) cans Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup or Campbell's® Condensed 98% Fat Free Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Set aside 1/2 of the fried onions for topping.
Step 2
Stir together remaining onions, beans, soup, milk, soy sauce, and pepper in a 3-quart casserole dish.
Step 3
Bake in the preheated oven until hot, about 25 minutes.
Step 4
Stir casserole, then top with remaining onions. Bake 5 minutes more.
Tips
Cheese lovers try this! Omit the soy sauce, stir in 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese with the soup, and sprinkle additional cheese on top before the last bake.
