Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pound beef liver, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 cup water
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dash garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1
In a resealable plastic bag, mix flour, salt, and pepper. Place liver slices into the bag one at a time, seal, and toss to coat.

Step 2
In a bowl, mix water, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder.

Step 3
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown liver slices on both sides. Pour sauce mixture over the liver. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer, 20 minutes, until liver is tender.
