Quick, easy, and delicious apple bars with crumble topping.
Ingredients

Crust
- 1 cup oil
- 6 tablespoons milk
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
Fruit Filling
- 9 medium apples – peeled, cored and chopped
- 1 ½ cups white sugar
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon salt
Directions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a jelly roll pan with cooking spray.
Step 2
Stir oil and milk for crust together in a bowl. Sift flour, sugar, and salt into the bowl; stir to combine. Set 1/3 of the crust mixture aside for crumble topping. Press remaining 2/3 crust mixture into the bottom and up the sides of the prepared pan.
Step 3
Combine apples, sugar, flour, melted butter, milk, vanilla, and salt for the filling in a bowl. Spread out over the bottom crust, and crumble reserved crust mixture over top.
Step 4
Bake in the preheated oven until crust and topping are golden brown, about 50 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool to room temperature, about 30 minutes, before cutting into 24 bars.
