I have been making this cake every year for 4th of July for a long time. Makes a quick and tasty dessert for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 (15.25 ounce) package white cake mix
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).

Step 2
Layer cherry pie filling, blueberries, cake mix, melted butter, and nuts in a 9×12-inch pan.

Step 3
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.

Cook’s Note:

You can use a small can of blueberries in place of fresh, if preferred.
